Sous Vide Beef Brisket

Cooking time: 12 hours

Ingredients for 6 servings:

- 2.5 pounds of beef brisket

- 2 beef stock bouillon cubes

- 1 teaspoon of steak seasoning

- 2 tablespoons of mustard seeds

- A drizzle of olive oil

- salt and pepper


Instructions:

1. Set up your Sous Vide water bath with the immersion circulator, maintaining a temperature of 140°F/60°C.


2. Season the brisket with grated beef stock, mustard seeds, steak seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add a touch of olive oil, then place it in a pouch and seal it using a vacuum sealer or the water displacement method.


3. Immerse the sealed brisket in the water bath and cook for 12 hours.


4. After cooking, remove the brisket from the pouch and grill it in a pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.


5. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes to retain its juices, then slice and serve.
